The UK and Ireland Soundscape Community was formed in 1998 as a network of individuals and organisations within the United Kingdom and Ireland who are concerned with all aspects of sound and its relationship to the environment. We are an affiliate of the World Forum for Acoustic Ecology (WFAE).

We are a non-profit organisation bringing together people who have professional or personal interests in the soundscape across the arts, natural and social sciences, new technologies, bioacoustics, urban planning, architecture, noise abatement, and more.
